There are many ways that you can contribute to the anti-trafficking movement.
Act locally by connecting with your local MDT (multidisciplinary team)
Contact NDHTTF to get in touch with your local community team.
Submit a tip through the SLIC Tip Line if you suspect trafficking activity in your area.
Invite an expert to speak to your group, place of employment, school, church etc. Contact NDHTTF for details.
Support your local task force agencies. Contact NDHTTF for a list of local agencies where you can donate your time and resources.
Refuse to participate in any activity that contributes to the buying and selling of human beings for any purpose.
Educate yourself and others on the issue of human trafficking and the efforts to combat it. Everyone has a role to play in preventing trafficking and assisting agencies who are working with victims. First and foremost, it is important to educate yourself on trafficking occurring in your area to determine how you can use your unique skill-set to assist in this work.
Donate your time, talent and resources. Whether you are a graphic designer, student, event-planner or attorney, everyone has something to share. WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you are interested in getting involved, please send a brief email to info@ndhttf.org and a task force representative will respond to learn more about how you would like to contribute in your local area.
Thank you for considering utilizing your time and efforts to benefit human trafficking victims across North Dakota!
